What is the Kiplin Challenge?

In the summer semester, the University of Magdeburg is once again carrying out a joint physical activity with the partners of the European alliance EU GREEN

Together and against each other, members of universities from 8 European countries are trying to “collect” as many steps as possible in everyday life. The University of Magdeburg has set itself the goal of surpassing last year's 32,140 kilometers in the so-called “Kiplin Challenge”. Staff and students want to be active together on walks, on the way to university, on campus and when shopping.

How can you take part?
Registration is possible from March 31, 2025 and will remain open until May 16, 2025. In the app, the steps will be counted from April 28, 2025 - the challenge runs until May 18, 2025.

Simply enter the registration code EUGREENKIP25 in the app and off you go.

After downloading, you first select your university in the Kiplin app and can then collect steps either alone or in a team of up to 5 members.
